Logic Pro is a 64-bit program and will only recognize 64 big plug-ins. The ARIA player is available as a 32-bit or 64-bit plug in. To make sure that the ARIA player is running in 64-bit mode:

  1. Quit Logic Pro X.
  2. Go to Applications > Garritan ARIA Player
  3. CONTROL+click on the ARIA Player icon and choose Get Info.
  4. Uncheck Open in 32-bit mode.
  5. Relaunch Logic X and the ARIA Player should now appear.

If this does not resolve the problem, in some cases the ARIA Player component will need to be removed and reinstalled.

  1. Quit any open programs, except this web browser.
  2. In Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the top menu bar or press SHIFT+COMMAND+G. A text field appears.
  3. Type or copy & paste the following filepath and press RETURN

    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

  4. Drag the file ARIA Player AU.component to the Trash.
  5. Empty your Trash.
  6. Click here to download the latest ARIA Player installer.
  7. Run the installer from your Downloads folder.
  8. Restart your computer.
  9. Relaunch Logic Pro and see if the plug-in is now available.
