Attention Mac Users
Apple will release macOS 15 (Sequoia) on Monday, September 16, 2024.
Finale v27 is not compatible with Sequoia and will not be updated.

Finale must be installed locally on each machine. To install on each machine, you have three options:

  1. Using the Finale disc or download, install Finale locally on each machine one-by-one. This can be time consuming for installations involving large numbers of computers.
    Note: Finale v26 is available exclusively as a downloadable installer. Finale 2011 and prior versions required discs for installation as full installers for these versions are not available via download. Depending on the version, physical installers may have been delivered in the CD, DVD, or USB flash drive format.
  2. Include Finale on a master image. If you install Finale on one computer, then image that computer, the computers you copy that image to will include Finale as well. This is the preferred method for installing Finale in large distributions.
  3. Finale v25.4 and later: Install Finale silently using Command Prompt or Terminal.

Please note that Finale does not support MSI installers on Windows at this time.  You must also authorize Finale on each computer after installation - you won't be able to image an authorized version of Finale.
