In anticipation of Apple’s upcoming release of macOS 10.15 Catalina, we have been testing our supported Finale notation products (versions 25 and 26) with the available developer beta software. While at this point we aren’t seeing any major issues, things can change as Apple modifies the OS throughout the beta cycle. Please be aware that Finale is not supported with any beta releases of macOS software.
If you rely on the use of Finale, it is our strong suggestion that you not upgrade to any version of macOS 10.15 until after it has been officially released and we have made a public announcement regarding compatibility. We are continuing to test Finale and will be providing more information on compatibility as soon as possible after the official public release of this macOS.

All users of legacy software (versions 2014.5 and earlier) should be aware that we do not expect these products to work on macOS 10.15 Catalina due to Apple’s removal of 32-bit application support.
