We are aware of an issue with the in-app Authorization Wizard in Finale v27 on macOS 26 Tahoe where the Next button does not respond to a mouse click.
As a workaround, you can press RETURN on the keyboard after filling in the requested information and complete authorization.
As a reminder, the end of Finale developement was announced in August 2024, meaning there will be no future Finale updates issued to address this issue.
Additionally, the last verison of macOS considered officially compatible with Finale v27 is macOS 14 (Sonoma). This means users may encounter unexpected behavior when attempting to install, authorize, and use Finale on later versions of macOS.
For the best possible performance, it's recommend that you install and authorize on a supported operating system, either by maintaining a second machine with a compatible OS, or by using more than one version of macOS on your Mac.
