Sustain Resonance is the slight excitement of all strings that occurs naturally when playing the piano with the sustain pedal down, and as a result, this effect is only active and audible while the sustain pedal (CC64) is down.

We have identified an issue in the Garritan Abbey Road CFX Concert Grand library when the Sustain Resonance effect does not function when playing back at a sample rate of 44,100 Hz (44.1 kHz) or 88,200 Hz (88.2 kHz), but does respond as expected at 48,000 Hz (48 kHz) or 96,000 Hz (96 kHz).

As a workaround, you can adjust your sample rate to 48 kHz or 96 kHz. (Available sample rates will vary depending on what your current playback device supports.)

If you using CFX Concert Grand (or the Garritan ARIA Player) as a plug-in within a host DAW, then you must change the sample rate within the audio playback settings of the host application.

If you are using CFX Conert Grand as a standalone application, you can change the sample in the Preferences dialog box, accessible by choosing ARIA Player > Settings (Mac) or Tools > Preferences (Windows) from the top menu bar.
