Hi,

when I want to print, I got a dialog with the possibility to check score and parts I want to print. Some of them are always checked by default and it's not the same depending of the document. Some documents, I've only Score, some I've only one part, some I've everything checked.

It does not remember my selection and for the next print, default checked parts (and/or score) are back.

What's the logic ? How can I specify the checked parts when I open the print dialog ?

Thanks,

Regards.

Nice to see that I didn't dream it ! But I never heard about it or find any solution. I just click over and over again...

I could be wrong here, but I think that it is a document specific setting - saved with the document.

Try this:

After you have printed a specific selection of score and parts, save the document.

Is your selection remembered the next time you open that document, and go to Print?

Nice try Peter but I'm afraid not. Thanks for the reply though!

I thought about that too and tried it 10 months ago...

I couldn't figure out the logic. Seems random.

Mine just defaults to score which means somewhere there is a default print code that selects score as the goto setting, I rather hoped there was man readable file that held these parameters that I could edit. IE default print output =current!

I will see if there is an answer to my query and raise it as wish list item if no-one puts me on to a suitable work round.
