I am using windows 10 with Print Music 2014 and I have relatively simple music using female barbershop template. (Two staves - one for tenor/lead and one for Bass/Baritone) Everything works fine. I can play back fine in Print Music but the mp3 file has a few missing notes when I play it back using another application. I use the Score Manager to Mute/Solo each track so I can have a separate copy for tenor, lead, baritone and bass. The baritone track always has a few missing notes in it. The other tracks are fine. I just can't figure it out. Can someone help?  I even downloaded a copy of Finale and would upgrade it this problem would go away but I still had the missing notes. Thanks in advance.

I looked at the mp3 file in Adobe Audition and there is a .2 sec blank spot where the missing note should be.

Hi Susan,

Are you using Human Playback? If so, I'd be curious to see what happens when you turn off HP and then try exporting audio. Choose MIDI > Human Playback > None, then export a new audio file. Are the missing notes still there?

Originally I had Human Playback turned off and the notes were missing. I went back and turned on Human Playback to standard and exported the audio (.mp3) and all the notes are there.  Does that help explain what is going on? I would prefer not to use HP.

Also if I select "play Finale through VST" and then export to a .wav file the notes are not missing. (even if Human Playback is turned off).
