So when i am in full screen working on a piece and i decide to create a new document.

the result is that the 2 documents merge together.

SO if you have 2 pieces with different time signature, the new one changes your old document (changing the whole composition), and all the new staves you created in the new documents are added to your old one.

BE CAREFUL, YOU CANT UNDO IT, SO YOUR OLD COMPOSITION IS ALL MESSED UP AND YOU CANT UNDO THE CHANGE.

Please FIX this bug

thanks

I use finale 25 with el capitan

Of course you can. If you saved before doing that, you can revert to saved or close without saving. You might want to turn off Auto Save if doing things like this (default is Off).

Of course you can if you saved it before opening the new document.

Since it never happened before, i did not save it, so i had to copy and paste all the new work i did....

Anyway this is a bug and need to be fixed!

Hello Matteo,

It sounds like you are looking how to start a support ticket. If you go to: https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us and click on Submit a request, and follow all the prompts you will be able to contact the MakeMusic Support team.

In my experience they'll want a system profile and a screenshot of the error. To send a System Profile you'll want to:

1. Close any open programs.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, click Go > Utilities.
3. In the folder that appears, double-click the program named System Information.
4. When the System Information program opens, click File > Save.
5. Save the report as an SPX file to your Desktop.
6. Attach that SPX file (which will be located on your Desktop) to your reply to this case.

You may attach files using the paper clip icon through the Customer Success support portal.

To take a screenshot of what you are seeing on your Mac, please use the following directions:

While holding down the SHIFT and CMD keys on your keyboard, press the 3 key. This will create a screenshot file on your desktop labeled "Picture1" (the number may be different based on how many screenshots you take).

Once you've made a screenshot, please attach it to this case. You may attach files using either your email's built-in attachment function, or the paper clip icon through the Customer Success support portal.
