Print Music 2011, and the latest Apple operating system.  I will be working on something and it will quit suddenly, causing me to loose every thing.  I click on the kind of note I want and click on the staff and it goes to the bottom and I have to scroll back up to where I want the note placed.  Occasionally does the same thing with rests.

The latest Mac operating system (macOS Sierra 10.12) is not supported by Print Music 2011.  Finale v25 is the only product that is currently updated for macOS Sierra.

Inasmuch as my Mac operating system (macOS Sierra 10.12} is not supported by Print Music 2011. is it possible to revert back to my previous operating system?

I cannot close Print Music.  The  tutorial page remains open and running.  I have a mac Sierra 10.12.  I have a 2014.5 version installed.

You can force quit most applications. If the system is frozen, hold the power button till it shuts down. This is never recommended but always works.

If I update Print music 2011 for Mac to 25 will the 25 update open 2011 files?

Yes.

 

If there are any issues, they are easily resolved.
