Has anyone developed a way to do notation for a concertina? It is unique in that it has notes and then numbers for the buttons on the right and left hand.
I can send examples if anyone would like to see them
A lot of these numbers could probably be entered as various verses in the lyrics tool. Not entirely sure about the fractions, and the circumflex accent shapes would be a puzzle. The chords letters, of course could be entered with the chord tool; the chords as numbers would also be entered (I would think) as lyrics, perhaps attached to hidden rhythmic notes on the bottom one-line staff.
Hi Dan:
You might consider the Finale Numerics, new to Finale 2012, for the numbers above the staff. There's even a ^ symbol you could use in that font.

Dan Fabeck,
Now I understand. I was thinking of the English Concertina.
The Chemnitzer Konzertina is a quite different beast.
The left hand notation can be done with a custom staff + the Chord Tool + expressions for the Tone Grip numbers.
Here is an example
Unfortunately I can not upload a Finale document in this forum.
Can I persuade you to join “the other Finale Forum” at
http://www.finaleforum.com/index.php
and post your question there?
In that other forum upload of Finale documents seems to be working.
