The selection tool is not working. I've tried various documents. It was working fine this morning. Just stopped. Help.

I just downloaded a new file from a composer. It had been created in 2014 and he converted it to 2012 (my v.). Now I can't select anything in any file.

First of all, Update Layout (Utilities Menu). If not, shut down and restart Finale, or possibly the computer itself.

 

I'm guessing by now it's working, but if not, come back.
