   Yes, Have the latest version that I've reinstalled just to be sure...can't get finale into rewire mode and can't get logic pro x to recognize finale in the input tab on the channel strip...any thoughts on why?

This is good information linked to, however I have Sonar Platinum and Studio One Pro, neither of which are covered in the documentation I am very anxious to get started with using finale 25 in consort with either of these DAWs.  Please help.

There should be documentation that covers Studio One and Sonar with ReWire from PreSonus and Cakewalk. PreSonus has tech support plus a user support board similar to this one—it's been helpful as I learned to navigate Notion 6. I don't know what resources are available from Cakewalk now that Gibson has abandoned ship.

Since you haven't told us your platform or OS, I've assumed Mac. I don't know if it's much different for Windows but here's the link:

My OS is High Sierra and I'm on a late 2015 imac.

I've managed to get the rewire to work on my laptop but not with my desktop imac...all the same software...(latest updates) and same OS.  The question I keep having is why will it work for the laptop and not my desktop machine?  Again...the issue is that I don't see the Finale RW in the input channel within Logic on the desktop machine...any ideas on why?

You can try posting a couple of screen shots. One or two where it is working and others where it is not. These are easy using Preview—save to .png or .jpg and use the icon second to the right in the toolbar above to post.
