The bass (left hand) of the grand piano in my score needs to be louder. I've tried putting in individual dynamics, which made no difference. The easiest way would be to just adjust the bass clef on the mixer, but the treble and bass is linked. How can I individually set playback volume of the grand piano in the grand staff?
(Windows 10, Finale 25)
Go to the ScoreManager, and click the chiclet Instrument List.
The Grand Piano will appear as one single line in the Instrument List, but you can click the little triangle in the Name column, to expand the view, and see two lines, one for each staff.
You can assign each staff to its own channel, and thus make their dynamics independent.
(You can even assign individual layers to individual channels)
