I downloaded the Finale 2012 software on my new laptop (Windows 10) but can't get the playback control to function. The play, stop and pause buttons are grayed out so they don't respond when I click to activate them. HELP!!!
Did you reinstall the Garritan Instruments at the same time? There are two installers and both have to be run.
I don't know if 2012 runs smoothly over Win 10 64 bit. It doesn't run well (or at all) on the last few Mac OS which is what I know better. MM is having a $99 upgrade sale through January 15. Perhaps it's time?
