MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1

Finale v25.5.0.259

I used the plug-in for beaming across measures but the original flags are still appearing in "ghost form."  

Although the ghost flags disappear during Playback (only to reappear after the measure has finished playing) , the second chord (1st beat in the new measure, the one connected to the beam over the bar) won't sound anymore, even when I put a staccato or accent on it to force it be louder. The beam over the bar created a "tied note" effect sound-wise.

The flags are a non-issue, and I think they have always been that way. They don't show in print or PDF.

 

However, I can confirm the non-playback issue. Deborah, have you submitted this to tech support? Use the Submit a Request tab at the top of the page.

The "false" flagged notes will disappear if you Uncheck View > Show > Hidden Notes and Rests

You can get it to playback by using JW Change > Note Entries > Playback > Playback. Note: I had to first apply Mute, and then reapply Playback, to get it to work.
