I've encountered yet another problem when trying to print single parts.  I've deleted all the page breaks, but there are still "lock symbols" on the music.  When I create a pdf of a single part it puts about one stave per page. Also, it's putting the arranger and the subtitle in a whacky spot.  It all looks great on my screen in Finale and it looks fine when I pdf the full score.   I'd love some insight into this.  Thanks!

I am sure we could quickly troubleshoot, if we could get a (small) Finale sample document to examine.

Unfortunately you can not attach Finale documents directly in this forum (only graphics can be attached directly).

Instead, you can upload the Finale document, and add here a link to the uploaded document.

You can e. g. upload the Finale document in the other forum at

http://www.finaleforum.com/index.php

thanks Peter.  I went to the link you suggested but was unable to log in.  It must be a different system than the other finale page?  I'd love to solve this.  Can you help me figure out how to upload to you?  Thanks. I'll keep trying while I await your reply.

The other forum has no connection to this forum.

 

To log in on the other forum you must registrate yourself in that other forum as a new user - with user name and password.

 

Also, there will be some delay before you get full permissions to use the forum.

Do not worry!

The delay is just the forum’s way of fighting spam-bots.
