 Limited choices on File menu.  Only save .mus or save as music MXL. Raw data is not recognized by Audacity; Any suggestions for audio?

No idea whether audio export is included with Notepad, but in Finale audio files are an export, not a save function.

Since you are using Audacity, you could let Audacity “monitor” the playback, and let Audacity record the playback as an Audio file.

Finale offers an a "save as an audio file " option, but when I do I get no sound anymore, I did once why not now.  What's the problem?
