if I change to Petrucci it looks almost OK
is there a problem with maestro

Since clefs, key signatures and time signatures display correctly, I suspect that the problem is document specific.

Things to try:

- Create a new Document Without Libraries, and enter some notes. Do the noteheads display correctly?

- Do the same with the default file Maestro Font Default. Do the noteheads display correctly?

- Check the settings in the problem document. What font is chosen for noteheads? What font characters?

With  default file Maestro Font Default. looks the same¨.

tried with Document options

load lib    jazz and hand...   works fine

DEFAULT MAESTRO- give look like above

What happens if you replace Maestro with Engraver?
