Finale crashed as I was trying to start a playback of a file.  When I reopened the file half of the notes were in a single line across several pages.

And where then notes should be the measures are blank.  Any help is appreciated. But I do realize the file might be lost for good...... Finale 25.3.0.276 for MAC.

I suppose that you have not yet tried any steps?

 

Some things to try:

 

1) Unlock systems, Apply Music Spacing, Update Layout.

 

2) Page Layout Tool.

Page Layout menu > Redefine Pages > All Pages …

Thanks for the suggestions.

I've only tried to redraw the page and update the layout.

My experience with Finale is rather limited and this is the first issue I've encountered.

I will try your recommended steps.
