I'm on a Mac OS 10.10.5

Finale version 25.3.0.276

I'm unable to save my file because of the error message listed in the title line.

What does it mean and how to I fix it so I don't lose work I've done on the chart since the last save?

1) Have you tried removing the Preferences file?

The next time you launch Finale, it will create a fresh (not corrupted) Preferences file.

 

2) The culprit could be that you do not have permissions to save to that particular folder.

Have you tried saving to another folder?

same to me...

I am able to save but not to use the clipboard... does not work copy and paste 

"While attempting to access “EnigmaTemp2084707463.dragclip” the File Manager reported an error.

Finale - Error occurred. ID = -2"
