I have an old finale 2008 version that I have installed on a windows 10 machine, apparently without difficulty.  When I run finale, I get a MIDI SETUP window, which I cancel out of because I don't have a midi device attached to this machine.  At that point, I get a small picture of a violinist in the center of the GUI and the program just hibernates.  Clicking anywhere after a while brings up the windows "Not Responding" window with the options to wait or quit.  What can I do to get finale to run on my Windows 10 system.
