Finale 2014  - Windows 10

I'm trying to extract parts from a full finale orchestral score we purchased and changed the vocal parts and deleted several measures.  The piano part will only pull the treble clef.  I'm trying to extract treble and bass vocal parts along with the piano part.  Only both vocals lines and the treble piano part will extract.  I tried to extract ONLY the piano and again, only the treble piano line will extract.  What should I do?

1) I wonder why you are extracting parts?

Finale has had linked parts since Finale 2007.

Why not use linked parts instead of extracted parts?

2) You can not avoid generating linked parts, since the extracted parts are created from the linked parts.

3) To find out what is going on with an extracted part, take a good look at the linked part:

Document menu > Edit Part > …

If the part is missing, or if a staff is missing from the part, go to

Document menu > Manage Parts…

NB:

The window Manage Parts can be expanded sideways, to show more options.

To create a new Linked Part (which can then be extracted, although I no longer do unless the part for some reason needs extensive re-editing)...

Thanks for your help.  As it turned out, whoever put this orchestral score "together" evidently put in separate staves for the treble and bass clef for the piano part.  The top part was named piano (though it was only the treble clef) and the bass clef of the piano part was named 'bass.'  That's why both clefs would not appear when I wanted the "piano" part.  . . . many hours until I figured it out!
