On the latest version of Finale, does anyone know how to create those diagonal 'fly-out' stems that you find in Bartok's piano music for clusters? I mean when you have, say, a B-flat and a B-natural (augmented unison) in the same chord, and so one of the noteheads is connected to the main stem by a little diagonal stem that branches out from it. Is there a way to do this without manually adding a line from the shape palette (which is far too cumbersome if you have many of these)? This is quite a standard notation now (over one-hundred years old), so I am hoping there is a more straightforward way than this.
