Why do the linked parts of my score not automatically create multimeasure rests?  I selected "create multimeasure rests" under "Manage Parts"> "Part Creation Preferences", yet they still do not appear in the linked parts, when I select Document>Edit Parts.  I believe that I had "Create multimeasure Rests" selected before I generated the parts, and I have since made an adjustment to the parts, so I do not want to select "generate parts" again to see if that fixes the problem, as I shall lose my changes.  I have used Finale for almost ten years, and I have never been able to make this work in any version of Finale.  How can it be that after ten years, I still lack intuition for this program to such a degree that I cannot fathom how to fix something so simple?
