note pad 2011 adding measures to the beginning of a piece

can I add measures to the beginning of my piece? The finale note pad program 2011 allows adding to the end of the piece, but how can I add measures at the beginning? Also I would like to know how to insert measures anywhere within the body of the piece. Thanks

From the Notepad 2012 Help files:

Click the Selection tool , click a measure.
Choose Edit > Insert Measure Stack.

Insert Measure adds to the end as you already know.

I don't know if the same applies to Notepad 2011 but it works in 2012 for me.

Notepad 2012 for Windows is still available. It has been discontinued for the Mac.
