I've got a piece written in 4/4 with triplets. How can I change it to 12/8 with usual eight notes?

If I Recall Correctly, there is a third party plug-in that can do it.

I think that it is one of Jari Williamson’s plug-ins, perhaps JW Rhythm, or JW Change.

Tried to download it – Finale doesn't recognise it somehow...

You have to download it, put it in the proper folder, and restart Finale.

I did. Proper folder, restart Finale, even tried restarting the computer.

Did you download the 64-bit version (necessary for F25?)

Ok it works and happened to not be the tool I need.

I found the solution anyway:
1. Change the time from 4/4 to 12/8
2. Utilities > change > note durations > change wholes to dotted wholes, halfs to dotted halfs, quaters to dotted quaters
3. Clear selected items > tuplet definitions

It would be harder to do in the opposite way, but this one works.
