I'm using MOTU's Mach V as an instrument within Finale. Mach V ordinarily receives tempo information from its host (such as DP, Logic, etc), but for some reason, Mach V does not seem to want to receive tempo information from Finale. Specifically, when I press the "sync to host" button on the Mach V interface, Mach V reads a tempo of 120bpm, but nothing I have tried within Finale seems to be able to adjust this. I have tried adjusting tempo in the playback window, using the MIDI tool, using a score expression, turning on and off human playback, turning on and off midi sync . . . just about anything I can think of, but to no avail.
To be clear, Finale itself recognizes the tempo changes. However, Finale does not seem to want to transmit tempo information to Mach V.
Anyone have any insight or encountered this issue?
Thanks!
