Save bug

Have encountered this twice in the last couple days.... I am prompted to save a file upon closing Finale and then the app crashes while saving the file. When I reopen Finale, it offers to recover files, but when I click yes to recover them, the program crashes again. When I open it and decline to recover, then try and open the file that it crashed while saving, it crashes again. The worst part is not that I've lost that session's work on the file, it's that I cannot open the file at all. Something is corrupted in it and it's crashing the program. Happy to provide the files to Finale so you guys can solve this bug, it's a bad one.

Windows 10 Professional, home-built computer, ASUS mobo, not sure if all that is any help.

Oh and this is Finale v.25.2.09 something - just uploaded to 25.3 but still can't open one of the files. As far as I know, it's not created another one of them with 25.3, so I guess I can hope it's fixed for future.

Although MM Support sometimes pays a visit, this is a User board. Use the Submit a request link at the top of the page to send this directly to MakeMusic.

I use Finale 2014.5, and after saving a file I moved my curser to check something and the curser froze. Not only did the curser freeze, so did finale and my computer. I restarted the computer and finale. Then I accessed the file I just saved before the crash. Finale said: 1. Cannot delete file " " -the system cannot find the path specified 2. Cannot delete folder " " 3. Cannot create file "C:\Users\Documents\Finale Files\Backups\Molly Malone2.asvx. This freezing "thing" has been happening for a while. I asked for help, but your solution was temp.
I've been using finale for years, and this problem only started after installing Windows 10 pro and Finale 2014.5. Please help!
