OK Google or finale I cannot make changes to an older composition of Oh Holy Night that was written with an earlier addition of finale with my 2014 version the piano part does not register the changes like the other lines do this is really an emergency I won't take too long please help me

I think you need to be a little more specific, and supply a little more info.

 

We already know that you are using Finale 2014.

 

Please state what OS version you are using.

 

Describe what you want to achieve; what you do when you try to achieve it; what happens; and what doesn't happen that you expected.

What version of Finale produced the original file?

Do you (or a friend) have access to that version? If so, you might be able to export it as an XML file using the Dolet plug-in available free from MakeMusic and import the XML file into your Finale 2014 (which should probably be updated at least to 2014.5).
