Hello this is a simple question :-) but want to know if there's an easier way to change a note in a chord? For example, let's say I have a B-flat, E flat and F – the duration is a whole lot for ALL notes. I would like to change the B-flat to a C – is there a way I can double-click it or use an option key or something? As of now it seems like I have to select the duration note (this example whole note and then select that note-- seems to be a good amount of work for simple task?
I have searched the manual and have not found a better solution. Maybe I'm missing something? Please let me know and thank you, Jim

Please add the program and version you are using to your signature, in the user control panel.

With the selection tool, double-click on the chord to select it. On a Mac, hold down the Command key, and use the up and down arrows to get the selection to the note you want to change. Release the CMD key, and just use the arrows to change the note.

It's the same on Windows, but I don't know which modifier key you need, CMD or CTRL.

Thank you so much for the quick response and I forgot to include my information, yes I am on a Mac  using both versions but most likely will use 2014 as the playback is better or seems to work :-)and will try what you suggested – I am a new user and feel overwhelmed as I do appreciate their tutorials video/manual – but did not have luck finding an answer to this situation. I am grateful for this forum as it helps me get the program down so I can focus on the music :-)

There are a large number of threads on this. If you can't find one that solves this, please post a complete description of the problem and what you are trying to do.
