I think I have a corrupt file/template, but not entirely sure. When I try to assign lyrics to notes with Click Assignment nothing happens. Also, after this happens, once I click in the Lyrics Window text box the lyrics just disappear.

The template that I'm using was made in Finale 2012 (I believe), but now I'm running V25.

Templates often don't survive multiple upgrades. If you start with a new template, do the problems persist?

 

Is this in all files, or just when using this template?

It's just this file. I suppose I'll have to set up a new template then. Thanks for your help.

Check that you are in the correct layer.

Please specify the steps you’ve already taken (to solve the problem), so that we can rule out things.

The same questions we asked 6 years ago: Has it worked in the past, but not now? All files, or just this one? Template, or a score you set up?
