Finale 2014.5, Mac

I am a little bit confused. I am currently working on producing files to help students learn scales, with scale fingerings written into the score. I have figured out the font size, style, and placement I want, and have altered the articulations appropriately for that file. But I want to be able to save those changes so I can use them for the other scale files I am working on, as it would take an incredibly long time to alter it for all 72 files I have... How can I save these changes and additions to articulations?

I tried saving an articulations library, and then loading it into another scale form, but that did not work, and I had assumed that was what this function was fore. I would appreciate your help with this!

My guess is that it actually did work.

When you load an articulation library, then the loaded articulations are added to the bottom of the Articulation Selection.

In Other Words:

To see the loaded articulations, scroll to the bottom of the Articulation Selection.

You were correct. I had assumed that the metatools settings would go with them, but I guess this is a thing that is specific to each piece of music. Thank you for your help!

3 additional remarks :

1) To avoid duplicates, it is not a bad idea to delete the existing articulations in the file before loading the new library.

2) You can also load your own libraries into your default files, templates, etc... and recreate the metatools there,...

3) ... as metatools do not get saved, except if you use the paid version of TGTools -> Modify -> Transfer -> Articulation Metatools.
