I am having problems with playback concerning the D.S al Coda and/or the Segno area. It passes over and will not go back to the First Segno to begin the second verse. Is there a particular video that deals with D.S. and Segno repeats..just so that I am sure I am inserting them correctly..??

Also, where might one find the Text Repeat Assignment box..?? I may have to change settings in there possibly.

I have read many posts in the forum here relating to this from other users, and I am still having problems understanding just exactly what to do to get around my dilemma. I hope that it is something small that I am doing wrong or have not set right.

You don’t have nearly the repeat options in PM as in the full Finale. If I remember correctly, only the simplest repeats work, and most of them are graphic, only.

 

Your best solution (other than upgrading!) is to create two scores: one for print, and another, fully scored out, for playback.
