I have a new iMac running 10:12:6 and upgraded to Finale 25. When I open a template from 2012 and then try to save it I get this message...

 

While attempting to access “Untitled 2.musx.zip” the File Manager reported an error.

 

Finale - Error occurred. ID = -1

 What happens when you Save As instead?

 

Are these templates you created?

Yes they're my templates. I found that I was trying to save them to an external hard drive, where I stored my templates,,,,but If I saved them to the new computer everything was OK.

What you’re seeing is an OS notification saying that you don’t have permissions to write where you want.
