I have old files on CD from Finale 2011 which I can't open due to the age of the files since the files are obsolete and a new computer won't recognise them. Is there anything I can buy so I can access these files  Right now a new computer won't open them due to the age when they were created on Finale So perhaps an app. what do you suggest? thank you.....

Hi,

 

Finale should be able to open old files. Often there are display issues that are resolved by changing to different fonts.

Also, please tell us what OS you were running when files were created.

 

Can your current computer see the files on the disk? If so, drag them to your desktop first and then try to open them.
