I am running Finali 26.3.1.643 When I import an mp3 from Grageband it seems to be in sync for a while then it drifts. I don't know they can't they stay locked if the track is the same beats per measure as the file. any ideas?
Try exporting the file as a .aif or .wav instead of mp3. See if that helps.

You can sync a DAW to Finale so that, as you record, everything stays locked. Search for Rewire in the User manual. Even though Rewire doesn't really exist anymore, Core Audio still allows for syncing in the MacOS.
