Your copy & paste feature is very problematic:

1.  If you copy a passage and paste it, almost inevitably, the last note or two fragments, and the passage does not occupy the same note values as the original.  If you paste it before a following passage, the following passage suddenly begins too soon or too late, and all subsequent notes are similarly displaced.  Trying to fix this is such a waste of time that it's often easier simply to write the new passage manually. 

2.  It is very difficult to select a passage that does not occupy full measures.  For example, trying to select passage that occupies a measure-and-a-half is very frustrating.
