I am using the new version of Finale on my Mac and it is up-to-date.  

(Finale 26.3.1.643 is currently the newest version available.)

I have 6 parts- 2-violins, 2-violas, 2-cellos.  I am simplifying some parts for a beginner strings class.  My playback was working fine at the beginning.  I extracted one part (Violin 2) just to make sure my dynamic edits were transferring to the parts.  When I did, Finale started ONLY playing back violin 2 from the score.  I extracted all parts to see what happened- now I do not hear any sound!  Help!

I am not a big finale user- just a teacher trying to help her students!

Try restarting the computer.

I have the 2014 version on Print Music I do mostly lead sheets.

I do not have the choice of choosing the playback instrument, It's always the piano.

And I don't know how to change it.  Your help is appreciated.
