I am writing arpeggios 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 for the six string bass to eventually express alternate fingerings. Is there a way to add the C string to the TAB. I.e., B, E, A, D, G, C.

What version of Finale? - v26? - v25? - or?

 

My first guess would be that you should use the online manual’s Search feature to search for info about the dialog box Fretboard Instrument Definition.

And probably also search for info about the dialog box Tablature Staff Attributes.

 

If your Finale document is based on the Default File, then the document contains a ready made Fretboard Instrument Definition for 6 string Bass.
