Finale 27, Window 11

I am putting together a book of Christmas Carols for trombones.  I need it to be half sheet in size (8.5 X 5.5).  1) the tunes are short.  2) a convenient size when moving around.  In order to make this a more efficient printing I need to do one of two things

1) Print two of the same part on one sheet (Top and bottom)

or

2) Print the 1st Part on top and the 2nd Part on the bottom.

I have a paper cutter and I am not afraid to use it.

Thanks Doug

Probably the best and easiest way is to do it is outside of Finale. I like to print page 1 and page 2 of an instruments part on one 11x17 paper but not using Finale to do it.

Windows does not have a native PDF print engine. That’s ok since there are a number of 3rd party PDF available raging from the expensive (Adobe Acrobat Pro) to the free. CUTE PDF is free and should be able to do what you want.

You will want to a) print the same file 2-up or b) print 2 pages to the same piece of paper. Either should be possible. Then slice away!

Being on a Mac where this functionality is built-in, I do not use CUTE PDF but many here do — what you want is a basic print function.
