Are you looking for TAB? I think you will have to make your own. Look at some of the other TAB presets. You should be able to work out what you need.

I cannot find a readymade template for E9 Pedal Steel — or even C6. You may have to ask around in some of the pedal steel groups online. If you find one, please let us know.

I was able to create a ten-string E9 template but was unable to figure out how to get the pedal and lever letters into the tab. I used the expression tool as a quick fix but wanted to know if there is an easier way to add a letter beside the tab number--for example, 3A.

I wanted to update this question about notating pedal steel with Finale. To add the pedal letters beside the tab number use the articulation tool.

Articulation too l /articulation designer / symbols / main / shape / create / text / type letter (A for example)

So far, the is the best way I can figure out.

My next task is to add a chord fretboard over the notation. I want to add a letter beside the fret number. Here's an example from illustrator of what I'd like to do: 

The only thing I still need to figure out is how to get the letters beside the fret number. I've tried the custom tool, but need more options. Any ideas?
