Upgrading from 27.3.0.160 to 27.4.0.144 on my MacBook Air M1 running Sonoma 14.1.1

Downloads fine but won't install.  Couldn't upload the screen shot (tried jpeg, gif and png < 2 MB oh well) so here is the error:

"Finale (Autoupdate)" is damaged and can't be opened.  You should move it to the Trash

I'm seeing this exact same error message when I attempt to install the update...

You might try downloading the update from your Finale account, rather than the ”check for updates” method.

Same error message... I have a Mac mini Intel, MacOS Ventura 13.6.1, Finale 27.3.0.160. I would like to try downloading the update from my Finale account, rather than using the "check for updates" method. The problem is that I can only find the full download option in my Finale account, not the update download option. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall Finale just for a minor update...

I ended up re-downloading the full installer from my Finale account, which worked.

The full version is the only one that is ever available for downloading directly from your MakeMusic or FinaleMusic account. Don't worry, that's what you want.

I installed from the updater yesterday without a problem. I noticed that it did not update the ARIA Player or any Garritan libraries.

Just downloaded and installed full version from my account - no regrets.  Was 3GB download vs 270MB for just the update so why not.  Did not need to re-authorize and noticed improvements right away; cleaner, snappier and some stuff worked that had been wonky.

Thanks to all for jumping in with comments and tips.
