It should be.  The student versions have always been full, just with a reduced price.

It is the sane as the full price Finale. You must have a valid student ID to take advantage of the offering.

Academic/Theologic gives you the same version that everyone else has. In the past there have been some upgrade limitations going forward but I do not know if that's still true.
