Not in the usual sense of having a checkbox in Staff Attributes to hide or show chords, as far as I know.

You could simply drag the chords beneath the bottom border of the page. They will still function but won't print out.

Thanks. I play the sax so although I like to include the chords for the others I don't want to see them myself...

I tried putting the words and notes on Layer 1 and then the chords on a Layer 2. Then I revert to Layer 1 and chosse "Show active Layer only" but the chord is still showing! Then I go to Layer 2 and "Show Active layer only" and then only the chords show. So this seems ty be a glitch in the program.

For some reason it does not seem possible to put chords on layers...why not?

Probably to make it easier for users to use slash notation without losing chard symbols.

Hello John,

You can hid these by right clicking and uncheck Show Chord (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H for Windows, or Option+Command+Shift+H for Mac). This will hide the chord from printout.

I have Finale Print Music, not the full Finale. I tried right clicking in various locations but nothing happened. Does this require the full Finale maybe?
