Suddenly group names are showing up on my pieces wherever there is a bracket. I'm working on a Mac, Ventura 13.6.1 operating system, Finale 27.3.0.160. Under Group Attributes, when I deselect Group name, it only affects the first system, where I want the name to show, but Group 1 continues to show on the other systems. This is a problem that just suddenly started. 

Would be grateful for any suggestion!

Hah - I solved it. There was no name abbreviation. So, I tried adding one. Then I was able to deselect it and the name went away. So - it seems that for whatever reason, if there is no name in the abbreviation, the program can't prevent the group name from showing. This was not the case in the past, but it seems to be now. But this workaround works!

It would be a good idea to submit this do MM Support using the Submit a request link at the top of the page. If you found a bug—and I don't know that you have—perhaps this will put it in the que.

I have submitted it to them, as I had the same thought that you did. It’s very odd, as this literally just started happening. I’ll respond when I hear back from them.
