I work exporting files in MusicXML format because I collaborate with people who use different software for music notation. However, surprisingly, I encounter issues with fermatas when playing back music in a piece that lasts around 15 minutes. Finale respects the preceding ritardando but fails to return to tempo afterward.

If I use the standard playback method, returning to tempo doesn't work. However, if I set the playback method to None or disable the option to read fermatas with ritardando, I don't encounter tempo return issues. I've tried various methods to restore tempo in those sections, including using the metatool, but it doesn't work.
