Hi all,

I'm using Finale 2014 on a PC. When I export a document to a PDF, the accents (only on the upbeats) move to a completely different location. Has anybody had this same problem and found a solution?

Have not had this experience using an independent PDF program to Print in PDF. The export to PDF in Finale 2014 is known to have flaws. Most experienced users recommend using an independent PDF-Printer to produce their PDF files. Some of these are free, so it is not a question of cost.

I do not usually use the Jazz font either, but I think the problem is likely your use of the built-in PDF export function.

Probably best to try 2014.5. If you log in to your user account and re-download 2014, it will download 2014.5 automatically.

 

2014.5 will not overwrite your 2014 installation and you can open your document in either version.

I do not think the PDF Export option in 2014.5 is any more reliable than the one in 2014.
