Is Finale 2014.5 (english) compatible with the apple system El Capitan 10.11.6 ?
(because the French version Finale 2014d is incompatible with this apple system)

Yes. As I understand, Finale 2014.5 fixed certain issues with the El Capitan OS.

In fact, a new build was released recently that fixed some f the issues people were having with the initial release of 2024.5. 

 

Not ot only is it a free upgrade for you but it does not overwrite your installation of 2014d. After you have determined it's going to work, then you can delete the other.

 

if you have a Mac Mini or late 2013 on Mac Pro after 2012, there are things you need to know before running 2014.5.

I normally assume that people know this but just in case...

 

You must download and install the Java 6 Run Time from Apple. All 32 bit programs that make calls to Java must have this installed.
