Final 2012 music could be saved as a midi file by selecting "save as" and clicking on midi file.  I don't see this available in the list when I select "save as" in the new Finale version I just downloaded.  How is this done in the new version?

In Finale v25 use Export rather than save as.

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for posting!

If you need to get in contact with our Customer Success team, you can do so using the Submit a request link at the top of the page. You can choose Finale Notation from the product drop-down to seek help with Finale.

I will go ahead and open up a case in our support system so we can figure out why Finale v25.2 is crashing on your computer. Please keep an eye out for that email!

You don't Save MIDI files; you Export them.
