I write scores/orchestrations on Finale Notepad. I can print the entire score, no problem. But, how do I print just the "trumpet" part, and then just the "trombone" and the "drums," then the bass (etc.) part separately?

Notepad does not provide for linked or extracting individual instrument parts. To do that you need PrintMusic or full Finale.

(Only so much you can get for free.)

Hi Joaquin

 

Save then print seperate files for each instrument based on the original file. Just delete all staves not required for the part.

Duplicate and delete certainly works but, it you have to make a correction or revision, you have to do it again. Your other choice is to upgrade to a version that lets you extract parts.
